Merge PDF files on Mac, offline
Short answer. Paperlane for Mac merges PDF files offline. Select PDFs in Finder or drop them into the app, drag them into order, and save one combined file. A single job takes 2 to 100 PDFs and can add a bookmark for each source file. Everything happens offline on your Mac and the source files are never changed.
Three ways to do it
In the app
Open Merge PDFs, drop the files, drag to reorder, and run.
From Finder
Select several PDFs in Finder, right-click, and choose Merge PDFs with Paperlane.
With Shortcuts
Use the Run Paperlane Tool action with Merge PDFs to join files from a folder or a form.
Steps
- Select the PDFs in Finder or drop them into Merge PDFs.
- Drag the files into the final order.
- Turn on a bookmark per file if you want a clickable outline.
- Run the job and open the merged PDF to check the page order.
