Create WebP images from a PDF

Export PDF pages as images, resize them, and convert them to WebP.

Export every page of the PDF as a PNG image, resize those images, then convert them to WebP. This recipe is useful when a page needs to be used as an image on a website.

Resize before the lossy WebP conversion. Compressing first can introduce artifacts that become more visible when the image is resized; this order applies lossy encoding once at the end.

  1. Export pages as PNG
  2. Resize the exported images
  3. Convert them to WebP

What a saved recipe keeps

Saved recipes keep the name, tool choices, and supported non-text options in this browser’s local storage. They omit files, passwords, calculator values, and free-text settings, so enter free-text values again after loading one.

Workflow results stay available in this tab for the current session. If a result is no longer here, select the source files and run the workflow again.
