Code blocks are rendered as plain monospace text on a shaded background — language-aware syntax highlighting is not included in this version. Raw HTML in the source is sanitized to plain text (tags stripped, script and style blocks removed), so it is never rendered as HTML markup. Images are not embedded; an image in your Markdown is shown as its alt text in brackets. Formatting is limited to the standard 14 PDF fonts, so characters outside the WinAnsi set (such as emoji or CJK) are replaced with a placeholder.

How to use this tool

  1. Upload a Markdown file (.md or .markdown) or paste Markdown text into the source box.
  2. Choose a theme (light or dark), base font size, serif or sans typography, and A4 or Letter page size with the margin you want.
  3. Turn on the table of contents if you want a clickable index page before the body that jumps to each heading.
  4. Review the rendered preview of your document, then download the PDF when the layout looks right.
