By default each slide contains a single full-page image of the source PDF page — text and images are not separately editable. The optional extracted-text layer adds approximate, editable text boxes on top of that image, but it does not reproduce the original layout, fonts, or formatting and should not be relied on for precise editing. Slides use a fixed 16:9 widescreen size; pages with a different aspect ratio are letterboxed (with gutters) rather than stretched or cropped. Scanned or image-only PDFs have no text to extract, so the text overlay will be empty for those pages. Run OCR first if you need editable text from a scan.

How to use this tool

  1. Add a PDF using the file picker or drag-and-drop.
  2. Choose whether every page becomes a slide or only a page range you type in (e.g. 2, 5, 8-11).
  3. Pick the page-image resolution (72, 150, or 300 DPI), the image format (JPEG or PNG), and optionally enable the best-effort text overlay.
  4. Download the resulting .pptx and open it in PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides.
