Visual mode embeds every page as a base64 JPEG inside one self-contained HTML file, so the output can be very large — file size grows with page count and DPI. The invisible text layer positions each extracted text item best-effort; unusual typography, vertical text, or tightly kerned layouts can make text selection sit slightly off from the glyphs. Reflow mode linearizes each page top-to-bottom and infers headings only from relative font sizes, so multi-column documents, tables, and purely graphical headings are not faithfully preserved. Only text and page images are exported — scripts, forms, annotations, and hyperlinks are not carried into the HTML.

How to use this tool

  1. Add a PDF using the file picker or drag-and-drop.
  2. Choose an output mode: Visual keeps the exact page layout with selectable text, Reflow rebuilds the document as clean semantic HTML optimized for reading and screen readers.
  3. If you pick Visual, choose a page image resolution (72–600 DPI) — higher values look sharper on zoom but make the HTML file much larger.
  4. Optionally limit the conversion to specific pages, then download your self-contained HTML file.
