Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first — use Remove Password before splitting. 'Every page' and 'fixed interval' modes on very large documents produce large ZIP archives and can be memory-intensive in the browser. Splitting does not re-flow or re-format page content; each page is extracted exactly as it appears.

How to use this tool

  1. Add a PDF with the file picker or drag-and-drop — everything stays on your device.
  2. Choose a split mode: one file per page, fixed intervals, explicit page ranges (e.g. pages 3-5), or individual thumbnails.
  3. Enter the pages per file, the ranges, or the page numbers you want, using 1-based numbering as printed on the page.
  4. Review the list of output parts, then download them as a single ZIP archive.
