How to use this tool
- Add your files — drag them onto the page or choose them. They stay on your device.
- Add the iPhone photos — .heic, .heif and .hif are all read, including the motion-photo stills.
- Pick the target: JPG for everywhere-compatible, PNG when a lossless copy is needed, WEBP for a smaller middle ground.
- Press “Convert photos” and download the results, individually or as one ZIP.
About this tool
Turn iPhone photos into files every app can open. Free and unlimited, and nothing is uploaded: it all runs in your own browser. It runs entirely in your own browser — your file is never uploaded to a server, and the result downloads straight from your device, free, with no account and no watermark.
Privacy & limitations
HEIC is decode-only: no honest browser encoder exists, so this never writes HEIC — it converts away from it. The moving part of an iPhone motion photo is not carried over; you get the still frame.

Frequently asked questions
Why will nothing open my HEIC file?
HEIC is a modern Apple format built on video compression. It saves about half the space of JPG, but Windows needs an extension installed and a great many websites reject the upload outright. JPG is accepted everywhere.
Will the photo lose quality?
A little, because both formats are lossy and this re-encodes. At the default quality the difference is not visible at normal size. The file will usually be larger than the HEIC, because JPG is the less efficient format.
Can I convert a whole camera roll?
Yes. Add as many photos as you like and they come back as a single ZIP, with no limit on how many or how large.
Should I stop my iPhone shooting HEIC?
Only if the sharing friction outweighs the space saving. Settings, Camera, Formats, Most Compatible switches the camera to JPG permanently.
