How to use this tool
- Add your files — drag them onto the page or choose them. They stay on your device.
- Type the Watermark text — your name, a handle or a word like DRAFT — and pick a corner or the centre with Where to put it.
- Set Opacity around 70% so the mark reads without dominating, and adjust size and margin under Advanced.
- Press “Add watermark” and download the results, individually or as one ZIP.
About this tool
Stamp your name or logo onto a picture before it goes anywhere. Free and unlimited, and nothing is uploaded: it all runs in your own browser. It runs entirely in your own browser — your file is never uploaded to a server, and the result downloads straight from your device, free, with no account and no watermark.
Privacy & limitations
A watermark is a deterrent, not protection: anyone determined can paint it out, and a corner mark is trivially cropped away — a centre mark is harder to remove and harder to look at. Only text marks are drawn today; stamping a logo image is not supported yet, and the run stops if the text field is empty. Very long text is shrunk to fit inside the margins, so on narrow images it can end up smaller than the Text size setting.

Frequently asked questions
What size should a watermark be?
The sizes here are percentages of the image rather than pixels, so the same settings look right on a phone screenshot and on a forty-megapixel photograph. Five per cent for text and about eighteen for a logo is a reasonable place to start.
Should it be opaque?
Rarely. Around seventy per cent is readable without dominating the picture. Full opacity draws the eye to the mark rather than the photograph, which is usually the opposite of what you wanted.
Can it be removed?
By someone determined, yes — anything drawn on top of a picture can be painted out, and a corner mark is easy to crop off. A mark across the middle is harder to remove and harder to look at. It is a deterrent rather than protection.
Can I watermark a whole folder at once?
Yes. Add as many images as you like and each is stamped with the same settings.
