About this tool
Stamp text or a logo onto a clip, positioned against the frame. Free and unlimited, and nothing is uploaded: it all runs in your own browser. Everything is analysed and produced on your own device — nothing is uploaded anywhere, and you can verify it: the tools keep working even offline.
Privacy & limitations
Files over roughly 2 GB, or long 4K videos, can exhaust the browser's memory — everything runs on your machine, so your machine is the limit. Text is drawn in your browser's standard sans-serif font — a distinctive brand wordmark should be a logo image instead.

Frequently asked questions
Where should the watermark go?
A bottom corner is the convention and the least intrusive. The centre is far harder to crop out, which is the point if the mark is there to deter reuse rather than to sign the work.
Text or a logo?
Text for a name or a web address, and it needs nothing but typing. A logo for brand work, supplied as a PNG with transparency so it sits on the footage rather than in a box.
Will the watermark still fit on a different resolution?
Yes. The size and position are set against the frame rather than in fixed pixels, so the same settings land correctly on a 4K clip and a phone recording.
What opacity works best?
Around 50 to 60 per cent: readable enough to serve its purpose, faint enough not to fight the footage.
