Privacy & limitations

Your files stay on this device

Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first — use Remove Password before splitting. 'Every page' and 'fixed interval' modes on very large documents produce large ZIP archives and can be memory-intensive in the browser. Splitting does not re-flow or re-format page content; each page is extracted exactly as it appears.

How to use this tool

  1. Add a PDF with the file picker or drag-and-drop — everything stays on your device.
  2. Choose a split mode: one file per page, fixed intervals, explicit page ranges (e.g. pages 3-5), or individual thumbnails.
  3. Enter the pages per file, the ranges, or the page numbers you want, using 1-based numbering as printed on the page.
  4. Review the list of output parts, then download them as a single ZIP archive.

Frequently asked questions

How do I split a PDF into multiple files?

Upload your PDF, choose page ranges or individual pages to extract, and each selection downloads as its own file (or as one ZIP if you split into several pieces at once).

Can I split a PDF and keep the original file size ratio?

Splitting doesn't recompress anything — each output file contains the exact original page content, so quality and embedded fonts/images are unchanged.
