Privacy & limitations
Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first — use Remove Password before splitting. 'Every page' and 'fixed interval' modes on very large documents produce large ZIP archives and can be memory-intensive in the browser. Splitting does not re-flow or re-format page content; each page is extracted exactly as it appears.

How do I split a PDF into multiple files?
Add your PDF, choose a mode (every page, fixed interval, page ranges or a hand-picked selection) and split. When there is more than one output, the files arrive together in a single ZIP. It all runs in your browser, so the document is never uploaded.
Can I extract just a few pages from a PDF?
Yes. In ranges mode each range, such as 3-7 or 12-15, becomes its own PDF, and ranges cannot overlap. In selection mode each page you tick becomes a separate one-page PDF. Use this to pull a chapter, a single invoice or one signed page from a long file.
Does splitting change the quality or fonts?
No. Each page is extracted exactly as it appears, with no recompression or re-flowing, so text, images and embedded fonts are unchanged. A part with fewer pages is usually smaller than the original, though shared resources can keep it from shrinking as much as you expect.
Why won't my protected or very large PDF split?
Password-protected PDFs are not supported yet, so save an unprotected copy from the app that created it. Splitting a very large document into every page or tiny intervals creates a big ZIP and uses more memory, so on a phone try larger ranges instead.
