How to use this tool
- Add your files — drag them onto the page or choose them. They stay on your device.
- Name the ceiling: pick a destination (Discord's 10 MB, Gmail's 25 MB, a WhatsApp sticker's 100 KB) or type a custom size.
- The tool binary-searches real encodes — each attempt is a genuine conversion measured by its actual bytes — until the file fits, and stops at the highest quality that does.
- Press “Process files” and download the results, individually or as one ZIP.
About this tool
Name a file size and this searches for the best quality that fits under it. Discord, Gmail, WhatsApp and more, all in your browser with nothing uploaded. Everything is analysed and produced on your own device — nothing is uploaded anywhere, and you can verify it: the tools keep working even offline.
Privacy & limitations
Every attempt is a real encode, so very large sources take proportionally longer than one fixed-quality conversion; a file whose content genuinely cannot fit at acceptable quality is reported honestly rather than shredded. Destinations with a pixel spec reshape the picture: stickers and favicons are padded to an exact square, thumbnails and social cards are centre-cropped to their aspect ratio, and the output switches to a format the destination accepts. Small images are never enlarged except to reach an exact sticker or favicon size.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get a file under a specific size?
Give the tool the limit rather than a quality number. It encodes repeatedly and keeps the best result that stays under the size you named.
Will it reduce resolution?
Only if it has to. Quality is lowered first, because that is less visible. Resolution drops only when no quality setting can reach the target.
Does it work for video?
Yes. Video is encoded to a calculated bitrate for its duration, then checked against the limit the same way.
