How to use this tool
- Add your files — drag them onto the page or choose them. They stay on your device.
- Add the video, then the subtitle file (.srt or .vtt) in the second slot.
- Set Text size and Position, and the appearance extras (colour, panel, margin) under Appearance.
- Pick the output format and run — the subtitles are burned into the picture, so they display everywhere with no player support needed.
- Press “Burn in subtitles” and download the results, individually or as one ZIP.
About this tool
Put captions into the picture so no player can turn them off. Free and unlimited, and nothing is uploaded: it all runs in your own browser. Everything is analysed and produced on your own device — nothing is uploaded anywhere, and you can verify it: the tools keep working even offline.
Privacy & limitations
Files over roughly 2 GB, or long 4K videos, can exhaust the browser's memory — everything runs on your machine, so your machine is the limit. Burned-in subtitles cannot be turned off or extracted afterwards — keep the original and the sidecar file if you may need either.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between burned-in and separate subtitles?
A separate track can be switched off, restyled and translated, but only if the player supports it. Burned-in captions are part of the picture, so they always appear and can never be removed.
Which subtitle files can I use?
SRT and WebVTT, which is what almost every subtitle tool produces, along with ASS and SSA for styled captions.
My subtitles appear at the wrong time. Can I fix that?
Yes, but before burning them in. The subtitle converter shifts every cue by the same amount, which is the usual fix for a file made for a different release of the same video.
Can I change how the captions look?
Size, colour, position and an optional panel behind the text. Keep the outline on: it is what makes white text readable over a bright scene.
